I finally got around to checking out Martha Marcy May Marlene last night.  Phewf! It was intense and totally stayed with me for after I left the theater.  It's the kind of film I wish were based on a book so i could read it and get some of my many questions answered.  If you like creepy, but beautifully filmed, movies, this one is for you.  Elizabeth Olsen is gonna be a big star. She rocked.

I got a poncho type thing at Zara while I was in NYC this past week (a friend of mine dubbed it my "Vermontcho") so now i get excited when i see how other people are wearing theirs as the weather gets colder. . . so far i've decided it works well over my grey-blue leather jacket.

"MY FAVORITE VINTAGE"

I saw the boots below on Etsy last night, and when i realized they weren't my size my heart literally ached for a few seconds.  I've never seen shoes quite like them and i'm considering foot binding to make them fit.  Are you a lucky size 7.5?  They could be on your feet for a reasonable $87.  Check out the other great pieces being sold in My Favorite Vintage's shop.
