here goes nothing

so this is my first official blog post. i'm so excited! i'm not even sure what i want from this blog yet. . .i just know that it's about time i made one of these things myself, seeing that i spend so much time browsing everyone else's. my "inspiration" folder is overflowing onto my desktop and i need a place to share my favorite images with others. I might slip in a bit of my own photography as well as some of my DIY projects and other randomness. who knows, maybe by post 15 rackk and ruin will have become a blog dedicated to posting new underwater basket-weaving techniques.
