Rumi Does Paris
Rumi, of my very first fashion-blog love Fashiontoast, recently attended the Emanuel Ungaro show in Paris and was generous enough to capture, and share, some of her photos and notes from the show. in her words: "cocoon-like draped dresses . . .rad scrunched up studded gloves and tights, low-key sexy slouchy trousers, patent leather jackets, chain-bedecked knits, a stunning origami-reminiscent dress. . . bags with the straps ingeniously wrapped around the wrist, and a barely there embellishment vest layered over a jumpsuit. . ." Check out her blog for more photos the full Ungaro account. . .
and Rumi, I wasn't gonna attempt to battle the hundreds of blogger comments to say this, but if you are reading this i just want to say it looks like you had such a fantastic time. . . and you looked amazing as always.

isn't this story a m a z i n g?!!!
I was telling my mom about it today! I just find it so great that she started a blog like any of us and is seeing all the much-deserved success through it (and I imagine so is Colin and photography skills) She's amazing and such a trend-setter. Often I feel that she's like this Kate Moss of blogging, she can pull anything off and make it look instantly amazing/make every one want it!
I liked your bit about not wanting t battle all the comments to express your joy for her experience. I often check how many comments there are to see if it's even worth writing something.
xx
I didn't noticed this the first time I saw the pictures on Rumi's blog - but don't you LOVE the boy sitting cross-legged in the first runway shot? I wish my parents would've taken me to Paris Fashion Week when I was his age!
Rumi's adorable ...that last outfit is sick. ...the blazer...to die for.
wow.
Ahh you are way too sweet, I still can't quite believe it all happened like that..literal dream come true experience.
xx
