you could buy the steve madden ones, then pay a cowboy to wear them until they're scuffed up like the originals. Ha Ha. I wish I had better advice! If you find good replacements, please let me know!

I recently saw a gorgeous pair of golden goose ankle boots on shopbop to and was shocked at the price!

I love the Topshop knocks of the Chloés- they may not be cowboy boots, but they're really nice ankle boots ;)

get an inexpensive pair from sheplers.com. run them over with a car a few times, then take sandpaper to specific parts if need be, finish with clear polish. ta da.

Golden Goose makes the best distressed, vintage-y looking boots ever.

agreed. sheplers is the best. super comfy (but will look brand new for AAAAAGES unless you are rough with them). I must try the running over and sandpaper et al!

I own the Steve Madden ones. They've become more flexible and more vintage-looking the more I've worn them. I definitely recommend them!
