it's really quite short. . . and when you are your own hair cutter it's pretty easy to go too short. . . i'm already awaiting a bit of a grow out in the back and sides! i'd almost forgotten how good short hair feels though.
it's also really easy for this haircut to make me look like a crackhead (something i'll have to watch out for).

You cut your hair yourself too? I've done so since I was 16 too. First because I wanted to save money, later because I can't trust my head on hands of another anymore. I've tried, twice, and later time I ended up nearly crying at the chair of hairdresser :,D
I wanted to go short and I had to go back three times before I dared to chop off enough. But short hair DOES feel good.

Lady, it looks terrific! Love the wispy 'curls' and uber-short blunt fringe. Seems to really enhance your features. Recently cut my hair too and short hair really does feel great, 'specially in the hot summertime.
