JUST KIDS
Just listened to a great interview on NPR with Patti Smith about her new book "Just Kids" (which is about her life/relationship with the one and only Robert Mapplethorpe) . . .
On a sidenote, I just got so distracted upstairs online that I hard boiled three eggs for about an hour (instead of the recommended 8 min). . . . water completely evaporated, eggs burning, popping, and a greenish color . . . and the pot in serious need of some steel wool elbow grease. argh.

awesome photo
I listened to this too - very moving, expecially when she sang the emerald bird song at the end.
sucks A LOT about the eggs. mostly the death of the pan.. total bummer.
style.com has a lovely gallery of photos from her opening recently.
I read a review of this book and thought it sounded really interesting. What NPR show was it on? I'd love to listen to it.
this photo is amazing. i love them both.
I want that book!
That story about the eggs is hilarious- I've done something very similar.
I have done that too :) I feel your pain!
(oh and on a sidenote I got the book you sent, THANKS, so cute!!!)
I'm jealous! I missed that NPR interview. How freaking cool are/were they!
