VOGUE PARIS BEHEMOTH
Even though the sequence of shots in this spread was a bit confusing (modern studio b&w shots intermixed with the Middle Eastern looking location shots) all of the images are stunning. . . I just have such a soft spot for Daria.
Does anyone else find it strange that there is a babe mustachio'd old guy in every one of the shots . . . (wearing the exact same tan hooded sack the whole time?) hmmm.
I'm always interested in how partner photographers, like Inez and Vinoodh, work together. . .

this reminds me of the 2nd half of the sheltering sky where kit goes crazy and bathes in the desert and then is whisked away by belqassim. hmm.

i think the only shot it actually works with the peculiar 'tash dude, is the final one, where he is holding her...the others are just a bit bizarre! she is just stunning, he however just looks a bit misplaced.

hahaha these are all so SILLY. i'm not paying attention to anything I should be because of the sheer silliness.
Not my fave shoot of Daria, though her make up really makes her appear alive and healthy. It is a bit too...er, well, I can't quite put my finger on it. Like I am missing the point or something of the entire spread?
This pretty much solidifed me getting a pair of overalls...
A little too creepy for my taste. Yet she is a knockout.
