KANE'S WONDERLAND

Five year old me would have absolutely freaked over Christopher Kane's F/W 2010 Collection. . . and big surprise, I still feel the same way! Except that now, as a twenty-five year old, I want the embroidered moto-jacket, and back then I would have just wanted to live in a magical world filled with his giant colorful embroidered flowers (and my mom).

this is my least favourite kane ever and has more than a touch of balenciaga ss08 to it with the shoes and shoulder structure... but: that's what I said last season, and now I love it!

I really really really want to like this. I loved his mirror collection so much. But I have to be honest. That computer generated looking embroidery is so ugly. I makes it look cheap and mass produced. I'm hoping it's better in person. It also seems so far away from his other collections. He is lacking a brand DNA. There is no way I'd be able to know it was from him without being told...
