APRON & BAG

Don't you just hate it when you discover something amazing only to realize everyone else has discovered it first. . . .Making it unavailable. . . sold out. . . backordered.
That's how it is with Stanley & Sons, the amazing handmade bag (and apron!) company run by Chris Grodzki out of Brooklyn, NY. Chris followed in his grandfather's footsteps (who manufactured factory apron and bags) by re-opening Stanley & Sons in 2008. . . only this time making everything one at a time, by hand. All pieces are made using re-purposed fabrics.
Found this insane image on the Apron and Bag blog. . . never have i wanted anything in my backyard so badly!!

Not sure if you're familiar with
http://forestbound.blogspot.com/, but if not look into her.
She finds amazing classic pieces and reworks them, usually into bags, but other things as well.
