INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND

Had an All-American day yesterday . . . hit up some neighborhood yard-sales, ate a bagel sandwich and washed it down with a Coke, drove around looking for a reservoir but ended up at a "family fun center" where we hit the batting cages and played a round of putt-putt golf. . . well, we ditched after 12 holes because A. It was the most boring course, and B. We caught up to everyone else and didn't feel like waiting around in 90 degree heat. Then we stopped off to get a nice tall creemee covered in rainbow sprinkles before swimming in the lake. Ahhhh, living the American Dream.
