MARY'S POINT
Every summer trip to Maine, my sister Alden and I pour through the old family photo albums that hold pictures from our grandfather's childhood, our dad's and now ours. "Mary's Point" was bought by my dad's grandparents when they were in their thirties and has thankfully stayed in the family ever since. The photos below are some of my favorites from the old albums. . .
My great uncle looking very much like a young Max from Where the Wild Things Are (which i watched last night and found cool, but way too long and slow paced).
My aunt margaret with a killer pixie cut
My grandparents
my dad and his cousin margaret
Dad (L), cousin margaret and his brother peter
My uncle peter and my dad (R)
My grandfather practicing form
This photo reminded me of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Me and my sister.
