When i saw this image of Kim Kardashian from W Magazine my first thought was: she looks straight out of a John Currin painting! Though Kim's boobs aren't quite as balloonish as Currin's women, there is definitely a resemblance.

too me it actually struck a chord. a negative one that this is almost a slight portrayal of hottentot venus. in poor taste
