SPARSECONTRAST

When i'm editing my own photos i tend to go a bit overboard with the contrast. I like intense lights and darks ( i learned that it's called "chiaroscuro" from my college drawing class) and often end up overdoing it. Photographer Martina Hoogland Ivanow uses quite the opposite technique. Her super low-contrast photos end up with a haunting feel that i quite like.
