"OH CANADA" TRA LA LA

My mom, dad, sister and I trekked up to Montreal last week for food, antiquities, and art history. The weather was gorgeous upon arrival, although the next day did not fair so well. I think the last time I crossed into Canada was in 2003!! Which is totally lame because I live a whopping 50 minutes from the border.

I found a couple of these cool old Canadian "CROWN" canning jars, with matching CROWN glass lids. Future terrarium? I think so!

I'm gonna buff up this antique dog chain/leash and make some awesome jewelry for you guys!

I'm picturing turning this glass globe-like thing into a pretty little accent light. Hanging from a cord? Perched up on a tall brass tube? Set/wired on drilled-out driftwood next to my bed?
