MY FAMILY AND OTHER ANIMALS

I had an animafull weekend (new word, learn it).  Went to a pumpkin patch/petting zoo on Friday and played with the animals while Eric and our friend Nick took a whack at the corn maze (corn mazes are sooo not for me. . . what with my claustrophobia anxieties and all).  Checked in on our four piggies down at the farm, filling them up on scraps and grain, and swung by City Chics to see how the turkeys were fattening up (i'll be eating one of them come Thanksgiving. . . ).

Finished off the weekend up in Montgomery, VT at my grandfather's house, catching up with my aunts, uncles and a cousin (whose living in Afghanistan and working as a filmmaker).  The leaves had turned and it was spectacular. . . it reminded me what all those "leaf peepers" get so excited about.

Where you replicating the Simon Doonan book (Nasty: my family and other glamorous varmints) in your title? If so, I love it. If not, that's ok because I love all the farm animals, especially the piggies.
