FIELD AESTHETIC

Field Aesthetic, a rockin' new company based out of Burlington, VT, sets their focus on crafting/collaborating on products that "nod to tradition, and are forged with lasting appeal." I'm psyched about anyone who studies and utilizes traditional craft techniques and doesn't try to hose their customers with crappy products.

Field Aesthetic's goals of "creating products that embody honesty and quality" are sadly hard to come about this day in age. . . but luckily there does seem to be a growing population of people creating a resurgence of this style of craft in the US (Queen City Dry Goods being a great example).

I would much rather spend the extra money for something that is truly well made; knowing that i'm supporting a person, a style of craft, or just because the item was made to last.
