I know getting excited over something (aka the new Wang T campaign) because of beauty is pretty silly. but c'mon, look at her! and she has quite a lovely voice as well (she fronts the band Elevator Fight). I also thought her pops was sexy as shit when i was about 12. Both petite hotties.

I was more than a little obsessed with The Cure for a while. Well, i still get really nostalgic when i listen to them. This is definitely my favorite old tee and i'm dreading the day when all that's left of it is a tiny shred. Speaking of things old and worn, this necklace was part of my childhood dress up box and i'm really glad it's still with me, albeit missing a few rhinestones. Nothing better than the shredded tee and a rhinestone necklace combo. Old MK did it oh so well. But her rhinestone necklaces were probably Tom Binns diamonds.

Summer is winding down and i'm already feeling guilty/lazy for barely checking off any of my "must do this summer" activities. No lazy river tubing, no day trips to Montreal, only two excursions to swimming holes thus far. I've been car-less since March which makes things way more restricted than i'd imagined. I can bike everywhere I need to go in town, but when it comes to taking the dog on an adventure i find myself desperately limited.

Not knowing whether i'd have a car by then, I jumped on Jetblue and got tickets to NYC in September. I'm going to be in the city for my first ever fashion week (September 11-15. . . just missing Fashion's Night Out. boo) so if any of you know about any fun events going on please let me know!!
