i was outbid a million times over on the most epic boots ever . . . i mean c'mon, looook at these things!! someday they will end up in thrift store and i'll discover them. I just know it.

This could be a really worthwhile DIY project - just buy some leather and replace the tongue with a very long piece and then add the detailing! That way you could even femme them up a bit and make sure theyre the perfect size, etc.

good god. Those are special. I bet you are gutted! i hate being outbid on ebay, not matter what it is, and i am quite possibly the worst bidder ever. Awful at it.
I reckon you could spice up a normal pair pretty well with your jewellery making talents and techniques though!
