struck gold

When my sister and i visited Prada in SoHo we happened upon the most breathtaking jacket we had ever seen, let alone held.  

It was gold, the color of gold bouillon in pirate movies, and had a delicate metal mesh under-layer that gave it its unique structure and weight.  

It was literally the most fantastic thing and i was completely mesmerized.  We had to be peeled away and returned to reality on the front stoop of Prada. . . reality bites.
