TALON

Favorite new necklace. . . i acquired this brass cast talon necklace through a trade with The Stylish Wanderer (she knew an old man in her town who makes them)

 I have a hawk foot in my freezer right now that my dad gave me (he found a freshly dead hawk on a walk in the woods and snipped it for me . . . he knows what his girl likes!) and i think i might have to look into getting it cast.  

This necklace is heavy, the claws are sharp, and it just might protect me if the time comes.
