APPLE APPLE

What a freakin wholesome Vermont fall day. . . Eric, Pitch (the dawg) and i went impromtu apple picking at Shelburne Orchards.  With views of the lake and the Adirondacks we chose only the best of the best apples.  There was also this rope swing that went up about two stories but i was like four feet too tall to give it a go. . .
Apples and honey or apples and chunky peanut butter with dark chocolate chips are two of my favorite snacks.
Apples were literally dripping from the trees. . . i found out the next day that if you collect and buy the "drops" it's like 75% cheaper. . . and they are usually super ripe and delish.
"The Betty"  ie: the most amazingly delicious thing i have ever eaten. . . i'm quite serious.

I followed this up with some homemade grilled pizza, a few apple cider donuts and some un-pasteurized apple cider.  oh, and some apples of course.

YUM. i just picked a bag of apples (eaters, cookers and cider) from an orchard next to where we grow our vegetables. that Betty looks so super-delicious.
