THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN' . . . OR COPYIN'
When I saw these Jessica Simpson platforms showing up on fashion blogs two thoughts came to mind: A) They looked familiar . . . a little too familiar . . . and B) they also looked a little too awesome to be Jessica Simpson footwear . . .
After some snooping around the inter-web Voila! I discovered that the original design was by Charles Anastase for his Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear Collection!

wow. nice detective work.
there's no way j.s. would come up with that on her own ;)
i do sort of love them though, the smaller heel makes them seem more wearable but ickkk copies can be a tacky thing....
i did get sucker into a isabel marant knock off though this fall, it was just too good to pass up.
ooh! good job on tracking down the OG shoe.
stealing someone else's design is not ok. boooo.

how sad for jessica. these "designers" should really be embarrassed that they cannot come up with anything original. take lilo, for example. ugh.

haha good work, j.s sucks dickkkkk, as if anyone would.... ahhhhhhhhhh
she should have made the platform a little less to balance out the shorter heel...
Bummer. :( I guess I should have known since every other pair of shoes from her line was grade A hideous...oh well.
I doubt you'd look like a tranny in anything. Even a full face of drag queen makeup.
Hey, you coming to nyc anytime soon?
I still really might buy these, I really dig em...ehh.
J. Simpson actually makes some pretty decent footwear! Not gonna lie, I have multiple pairs.
GOOD eye!!!! and i agree with anonymous above at 7:53-- i dont own any of her shoes, but i do like the styles i've seen on some other girls :)
xx
Oh Jessica-I'm afraid Charles may have done it better.
XO THE GIRL IN GREY
But aren´t Jessica Simpson shoes always cpoies of designer items? I always thought so... I don´t think I have ever seen a pair that did not resemble something else...
