TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN

I would never wish fame upon myself, nor anyone else . . . free gifts yes, but being stalked by fans and razzi - fuck no. I can't even imagine living a life where as soon as i walk out my door i am inundated with judgement worlds beyond what i already think exists. I can't say i think Kristen Stuart is the worlds best actress, but she just seems real to me. She isn't some paper-thin, bleach-blonde, botox'd girl i'm supposed to want to emulate. She also gets to kiss Robert P.

Hell yeah Kristen Stuart. . . .

“If I could go to work every day and not have to be followed around by f**king fifteen gangsters trying to take my picture, willing to do anything for one… It’s not normal. It’s funny how in America fame is placed so f**king high—above wealth, above happiness, above everything. It’s so not true. And I knew that before [I was famous]. It was so obvious to me. I don’t know how people can’t see that from an outsider’s perspective. My perspective is the same: it’s exactly what I thought it would be.”

"He was nice,” she tells of the betaken fan. “He didn’t ask for a picture. That’s good, because then they go and Twitter them and then the paparazzi know where I am and they drive to my location and it gets crazy. Twitter f**ks me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now’ and then they show up. I see people on their phones and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your f**king phone and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying.”

Every job has an upside and a downside. For a celebrity, the upside is you get to pretty much show face in a movie you don't even have to try hard to act well on, get paid well enough to live luxuriously for 2-3 months before even bothering to going back to work, the talented people you get to collaborate with and learn from, the freebies, etc. All things I would say people would basically want if given the chance. But then there's the down side, the invading paparazzi and the relentless fans. Yes, I agree with Stewart that the idea of fame is an odd thing to grasp, but come on, she sounds like a complete whiner about her privacy being invaded and the fans being annoying. She decided to become an actress and believe it or not, without these fans and the paparazzi, no one would even know about her. On camera and off, she is on the job 24/7. Heck, as annoyed as I will be in her position, it still beats the downside of other jobs like cleaning toilets.

Amen. Very true. Upsides and downsides to every job. Hell, I'd rather be annoyed by paparazzi than deal with people dying nearly every day (work in a hospital)

She's awesome! I love how she doesn't care what people think and she doesn't take the whole fame thing so seriously. Hollywood need more women like her, to not be afraid to be yourself.

Makes me rethink the position I've taken in life. You can't help but feel a little bit sorry for her

You know, any other day I'd get mad about a text like this. But today, this text, just seems real to me too.

If she felt this way she should have decided to be a theater actor. She would be able to keep for the most part her anonymity and be able to act. But then again I don't really consider her to be a true actor. This could just be a phase. Sounds harsh I know but why complain about something that you knowingly got yourself in to. There are tons of girls who would love to be in her place and wouldn't be a whiny little bia bia about it.
