NYC

**Please note the dog on the lap. This could be the start of my very own "Animals That Saw Me" series.

I avoided "street meat" because i didn't wanna end up like Kim Kardashian and gain 10 pounds. HERE
Heading to the Meatpacking District for the NOMIA show.

Brunch at The Roebling Tea Room in Williamsburg where my friend Julia works. . .

Mast Brothers Chocolates in Williamsburg (the first company in NYC to make chocolate directly from the bean). It seems only attractive men are hired there. You don't hear me complaining.

My buddy Conor has been working there for a while so we were able to get a sneak peek behind the scenes. . . where the magic is made so to speak. I kept looking around for Roux (Johnny Depp's character in Chocolat) but not luck. I DID get to leave with an armload of "seconds" though. Thanks again Conor!

Wandered around OBSCURA in the Lower East Side (well, there's not really enough room in there to "wander". . .) If you like creepy old medical stuff, taxidermy, and ugly old nightmare-inducing masks this place is for you.

Please Don't Tell (secretly located inside Crif Dogs in the LES) for us on Saturday night. I say "secretly" because the only way to access PDT is through a hidden door inside of an old phone booth in Crif Dogs. The drinks were pricy (but i guess $15 is pretty standard for a cocktail in NYC) and the food was divine: burgers, waffle fries, and deep fried hotdogs.
Marissa dialing the hostess on the other side of the secret wall.
